Warehouse Operative
When you join our team you will contribute to the effective running of the
warehouse to ensure we provide a service to our branches.
Duties include:
- Unloading and checking product into the building.
- Picking product for despatch to the stores.
- Ensuring all product is loaded onto the
lorries in the correct manner for delivery to the stores.
- Ensuring we have sufficient product in the pick face to ensure we
are able to meet store orders.
Team Supervisor
You will assist the Shift Manager in the smooth running of the warehouse
through effective management and development of staff ensuring warehouse
operations are carried out at all times.
- Monitor operations and resolve any problems when identified.
- Manage and motivate your team of people to achieve targets.
- Monitor Health and Safety and deal with any areas of concern.
- Develop team and identify ongoing training needs.
Shift Manager
You will be responsible for the management of your Team Supervisors and
staff to achieve the targets of the warehouse.
- Day to day planning of the workload of your staff to ensure targets
are met.
- Management, motivation and development of your Supervisors and
warehouse operatives.
- Monitor warehouse operations, resolve issues and make recommendations
for improvements.
- Management of targets.
- Deal with Personnel issues.
LGV Driver
You are a vital link between the warehouse and stores, ensuring they
receive all their stock at the right time to enable them to achieve sales
targets.
- Class II Licence required.
- The job entails work of a physical nature as you will be required
to ‘handball’ stock from the back of the lorry into the store.
- Monitoring of your driving hours is essential.
- 48 hours per week, 4 x 12 hours per day (Monday – Thursday)
Store Manager
Reporting to your Retail Business Manager, you will be responsible for the
day to day running of the store.
- Ensure sales targets are met.
- Ensure high standards of store presentation.
- Maintain stock records and minimise stock losses.
- Ensure cash handling procedures are followed.
- Ensure company security procedures are followed at all times.
- Recruit, train, monitor and develop store staff.
- Ensure all aspects of Health & Safety procedure are adhered to.
Assistant Manager/Supervisor
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will assist with the day to day running
of the store and be completely responsible for the store in the Manager’s
absence.
- Ensure high standards of customer service.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping throughout the store.
- Responsible for staff induction training.
- Ensure procedures relating to stock are followed at all times.
- Ensure company security procedures are followed at all times.
Sales Assistant
Reporting to the Store Manager/Supervisor, you will assist in the efficient
running of the store.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and housekeeping.
- Ensure regular replenishment of stock on the sales floor.
- Assist with stock deliveries.
- Ensure company security procedures are followed at all times.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge.
Administrator
Reporting to the Department Manager, you will provide general administrative
support to the department as a whole. Although duties will vary according
to specific departments, general duties will include:
- Producing typed documents using a variety of Windows applications
(dept specific).
- Dealing with telephone enquiries.
- Opening the post.
- Providing cover for Reception as and when required.
